Shesh Besh, the Arab-Jewish Ensemble founded in 2000, brings together musicians who are members of the Israel Philharmonic with renowned musicians from the Arab community in northern Israel.
The musicians play traditional Classical instruments and Middle Eastern instruments—such as the oud, ney, and darbuka—as they showcase a unique blend of Middle Eastern, Classical, and original compositions.
Their onstage presence and musicianship reflect their belief that the language of music has the ability to bind hearts and build real bridges between people.
