Hairbrained is a one-act comedy about hair through the ages. The ecstasies and the horrors, the love and the loss, answering the timeless question: “Does this haircut make my ass look big?”

A Canadian film, stage, television actress, and singer and one of the most honoured actors in Canada, McCarthy has won two Genie Awards (film), two Gemini Awards (television), and two Dora Awards (theatre). Star of CBC’s Little Mosque on the Prairie, her most recent role is on the critically acclaimed BBC America series Orphan Black.
