In an informal conversation with local Toronto theatre artists, Ruth Madoc-Jones (freelance director/dramaturg) and Jennifer Capraru (Artistic Director, Theatre Asylum), Nir Paldi (Artistic Director, Theatre ad Infinitum), will discuss how various forms and approaches to theatre, can be used to explore and challenge complex issues of identity and culture. Moderated by Jessica Wyman – OCADU professor and art critic, with particular interest in contemporary performance theory and conceptual art practices.

Presented by Acting Up Stage 30 min prior to each performance Naomi Tessler, founder of Branch Out Theatre, will discuss how she uses Theatre of the Oppressed techniques, as a facilitator in social change, conflict resolution, and dialogue.
