Kal Honey is a graduate of OCAD, has 20 years' experience as an award-winning graphic designer, and is now primarily a visual artist and art instructor. In his fine art practice, Kal explores the potential of unorthodox methods and materials, often featuring text and graphic elements informed by his design training. As an instructor, Kal likes to create an environment that is at once supportive and adventurous: for it is only from a place of safety that one can feel free to take the necessary risks to extend one's limits.
