Ronit Eizenman

Instructor, Dance (Nirkoda)

Ronit Eizenman has been teaching dance for over 35 years and has held dance and fitness teaching/instructor positions in both Israel and Canada, including Physical Education and Dance Teacher at both USDS, Bayview and Bialik Hebrew School, where she was also director/choreographer of the student dance performing group. Ronit holds a senior teaching diploma from the Wingate Institute for Physical Education and Sports (Israel), with a specialty in dance; a diploma from the Israeli Folk Dance Institute for instructors; a teaching certificate from Midrasha Lemorim Toronto; and a diploma from Seneca College for stage managers. She is a member of the Association of Israeli Folk Dance Instructors/Choreographers (1969-present), the choreographer of Rikudiyah (2001-present), Artistic Director of Israel Day Festival Toronto (1997-present), director/choreographer of Nirkoda Israeli Dance troupe (2000-present), co-founder/director/choreographer of Dor LeDor (2006-present) and a member of the organizing committee for community celebrations at Israel’s 40th, 50th and 60th anniversaries.
